Built in 1913, the museum now houses handicrafts and sculptures from the 4th to 10th centuries and the Angkor Dynasty, several photographs of Angkor taken by French photographers, and many authentic Angkor Wat sculptures. It helps to do some homework before heading to Angkor Wat.
The museum is an open design, beautiful and exotic. The center built a small pavilion, dedicated to a statue of a god, surrounded by four artificial lotus ponds, grass beds and benches alternate, like a soundproof wall, cut off the hustle and bustle outside the museum, allowing visitors to enjoy quietly.
